The Effective Way to Change Bad Habits

Bad habits are the first cause why so many people do not achieve their desires. Fortunately, anyone who will follow this process will replace any bad habits with any habits he wants.

The process of replacing bad habits to good ones, goes with the following 3 steps:

1-Indentify The Bad Habits:

Before anything else, you need to identify these habits that you would like to replace. To do so, you need to ask yourself questions, for example: what are the habits that I do on daily basis and would like to change them? On what I do spend my time on that does not benefits me? What I would like to change about my daily routine? And so on. Keep asking your self relative questions, and note each one that comes out in notepad, paper, or whatever. Do this as many times as possible, until you come up with all that you would like to change.

2- Replace The Bad Habit:

Bad habit are so hard to get removed or eliminated, it take a tremendous effort to do so. The better solution, will be, simply replace it with a good habit. The problem with most of us, is that we want to change something that been part of us for months, years, or even for decades for some people, instantly with something else.

Now to change these bad habits into a better ones, you need to simply change it to something esle you would like. For example, when you feel bored and sleepy, instead of watching a movie or watching TV, you can relax and start writing your goals, imagining your self achieved these goals ( my favorite one), it is like hitting 100 birds with one stone (You know that completing and getting more details of your goal, and making it as clear as possible is one of the important laws to achieving them).

Another useful tip, is do not expect perfection overnight. You should be seeking process, getting better each day, small changes toward the ultimate ideal habits you want.

3- Reward Your Self:

This is really awesome tip, works like magic for me. When you find yourself making some good habits or did something that feel proud of, reward your self by saying I am awesome, do some kind of dance or jump like you did something great ( remember that doing a great things comes from doing consist things of small things and finish them in efficient manner). What your goal from this step is that you should try to originate good feelings. Anything that makes us feels good, or get us in a good vibration, automatically the mind ( subconscious one that controls our habits and routine) get us to do more of this things that makes us feel that way, unconsciously. And that my friend, one of the best things to do, originate good feelings by doing something you would like to do.

Remember you are seeking process, do not feel discourages, sit down and lament, or blame your self, when finding yourself going out of track. Keep a clear mental image of the habits and characteristics you would love to have, with the faith that you will, and keep making small changes that will eventually get you the ultimate habits you want.
